Pink Champagne 1962
Ennis Franciscan Musical Society's fifth production took to the stage in 1962 with the musical Pink Champagne. Pink Champagne" is the English-language adaptation of Johann Strauss II's famous operetta, Die Fledermaus. It tells a story of mistaken identity, revenge, and social satire set at a masquerade ball, where a prank involving the character Falke sets off a chain of events that leads the characters to a prison the next day, where they blame a night of drinking and champagne for their troubles.
